Now that we're looking good to close at the end of the month, my brain is swimming with decorating and home improvement ideas. I've never lived in a place that I could paint, so that will likely be my first project. Later on down the road I have plans for updating the bathrooms, renovating the kitchen, maybe re-doing the deck, redoing the kitchen floors and replacing the carpets for sure, a possible bay window in the kitchen or an extended front porch, a garden in the backyard and a fire pit for sure! But we also have to keep in mind that the HVAC/furnace are pretty old, so we will have to budget in those costs to replace in the next year or few.
