Roanoke or Bust

I had a girls weekend in Roanoke the past few days with a few of my college buddies :)
Much fun was had by all- we went hiking along a small part of the Appalachian Trail, Went to Layman Farm for a corn maze, and topped it off with the Boo Bash downtown. It was so much fun and Roanoke is absolutely gorgeous this time of year- and now I am completely exhausted!

Neptune Festival

Neptune Festival was last weekend and I headed out to the oceanfront to see Ky's little girl, Kim, help in building her school's entry for the annual sand sculpture contest. My dad and the fam joined us later and we headed down the boardwalk, stopping for Debra to climb the rock wall and the girls to do a bungy jumping thing. Later that day I got to meet up with one of my college buddies for lunch and some catch-up. All in all, a pretty great weekend!
